Job Description:

REPORTING TO THE NETWORK SERVICES MANAGER, THE CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE WORLD CLASS TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT, EMPLOYEES AND FINANCIAL ORGANIZATIONS CUSTOMERS. SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION, CONFIGURATION, ADMINISTRATION AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT OF WILSON BANK AND TRUST VoIP PHONE SYSTEM, CALL MANAGEMENT, AND UNDERLYING LAN/WAN/WLAN NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE. RESPONSIBLE FOR HANDLING EMPLOYEE REQUEST FOR NEW COMMUNICATION SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, USER ACCOUNTS, AND PASSWORDS. RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ASSESSMENT AND REVIEW OF LAN/WAN/WLAN NETWORK AND TELEPHONY NEEDS. RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING SUPPORT OF LAN/WAN/WLAN NETWORK AND TELEPHONY SYSTEM. RESPONSIBLE FOR COORDINATING REPAIRS, SYSTEM ADDITIONS, AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT WITH THIRD PARTIES FOR THE NETWORK AND VoIP TELEPHONY SYSTEMS HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE. PERFORM TESTING AND STUDIES AS DIRECTED IN SUPPORT OF LAN/WAN/WLAN NETWORK, VoIP TELEPHONY SYSTEM, AND RELATED SYSTEMS. RESPONSIBLE FOR WORKING AND CLOSING TICKETS PERTAINING TO VoIP TELEPHONY SYSTEM AND LAN/WAN/WLAN NETWORK SYSTEMS TO MEET TECHNOLOGY SLA’S. PROVIDE 24/7 SUPPORT OF VoIP TELEPHONY SYSTEMS AND LAN/WAN/WLAN NETWORK HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, AND CONFIGURATION, INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND AFTER HOURS. REPORT AND MONITOR LAN/WAN/WLAN NETWORK AND VoIP TELEPHONY SYSTEMS PERFORMANCE AND USAGE. WORK CLOSELY WITH END USERS, CUSTOMERS, OUTSIDE CONSULTANTS, ENGINEERS, AND TECHNICIANS IN A PRODUCTIVE AND PLEASANT MANNER. EXPLAIN, PROMOTE, AND SELL THE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES OF WILSON BANK & TRUST. PARTICIPATE IN OUTSIDE COMMUNITY EVENTS AS THE OPPORTUNITY PRESENTS ITSELF. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED BY THE NETWORK SERVICES MANAGER.

 

 

Experience and Skills:

MUST HAVE 7 OR MORE YEARS OF TELEPHONY EXPERIENCE INCLUDING DESIGNING, IMPLEMENTING, AND SUPPORTING PBX AND VoIP TELEPHONY SYSTEMS. MUST HAVE 7 OR MORE YEARS OF LAN/WAN/WLAN AND POTS LINE EXPERIENCE INCLUDING DESIGN, IMPLEMENTATION, AND SUPPORT OF NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE AND SUPPORTING SYSTEMS. EXPERIENCE DESIGNING, IMPLEMENTING, AND SUPPORTING SHORE TEL CONNECT SYSTEMS A PLUS. EXPERIENCE DESIGNING IMPLEMENTING, AND SUPPORTING HP/CISCO/EXTREME NETWORKS LAN/WAN/WLAN NETWORKS A PLUS. MUST HAVE STRONG TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS AND INITIATIVE TO SEE PROBLEMS THROUGH TO COMPLETION. MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS. THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE CLEARLY WITH EMPLOYEES, TEAM MEMBERS, CUSTOMERS, AND VENDORS IN A CLEAR AND CONCISE PROFESSIONAL MANNER. MAINTAIN TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT SLA’S FOR TICKET AND CUSTOMER RESOLUTION. MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM TESTING, PLANNING, DOCUMENTATION, AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER AS DIRECTED. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK CLOSELY AND EFFECTIVELY IN A MULTI-FACETED TEAM ENVIRONMENT CONSISTING OF TECHNICIANS, ENGINEERS, VENDORS, CONSULTANTS, AND CUSTOMERS. MUST HAVE 7 OR MORE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH TCP/IP, VLAN’S, VPN TYPES, LOAD BALANCING, BRIDGING, SWITCHING, ROUTING, EHTERNET, RF, USING REVERSE PROXIES, VPC, GRE, VRF, QOS, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, AND ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE OF THE OSI MODEL. MUST HAVE 7 OR MORE YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH EXPERIENCE OF RELATED INDUSTRY SPECIFICATIONS SUCH AS, IEEE, ANSI, FIBER (MULTIMODE, SINGLE MODE, UTP, ETC.), CAT 5E, CAT 6, AND CAT 6A. MUST HAVE 7 YEARS OF TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE ON MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS INCLUDING NETWORK DESIGNING SOFTWARE SUCH AS VISIO. ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE OF NETWORK DEVICES AND NETWORK APPLIANCES. ADVANCED SKILL-SET WITH NETWORK TROUBLESHOOTING TOOLS. ABILITY TO WORK IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT.MUST HAVE AN EXCELLENT ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK SUPPORT TICKETS, DAY TO DAY TASK, AND PROJECTS IN A PROFESSIONAL SETTING. CCNA/CCNP OR ANY OTHER ADVANCED NETWORKING CERTIFICATIONS ARE CONSIDERED A PLUS. EXPERIENCE WITH INTEL-BASED PERSONAL COMPUTERS AND FILE SERVERS INCLUDING OPERATING SYSTEM AND HARDWARE CONFIGURATIONS. KNOWLEDGE OF VIRTUALIZATION NETWORK BEST PRACTICE CONFIGURATIONS AND COMMUNICATION. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF BANK TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES. ABILITY TO EFFECTIVELY INTERACT WITH ALL TYPES OF PERSONALITIES IN DEALING WITH EMPLOYEES AND THEIR ISSUES. ABILITY TO EXHIBIT STABILITY IN DAILY STRESSFUL SITUATIONS. MUST BE ABLE TO ASSESS TECHNOLOGY NEEDS, PRIORITIZE, AND TAKE ACTION IN OBTAINING ASSISTANCE WHEN SYSTEMS ARE DEGRADED OR INOPERABLE .
