Job Description:

Must be able to provide world class technical support for the technology department, employees, and the financial organizations customers. Assist in designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting in support of software, network and/or security products. Responsible for providing support to the IT infrastructure team and management on security related issues and incidents. Make security related recommendations to improve security posture for employees, customers, and its stakeholders. Regularly perform security checks and aid in troubleshooting. Assist with managing firewalls, anti-virus, systems logging, network logging, IPS/IDS, NAC, YPN, SIEM, spam, content filtering and other security products. Assist in coordinating repairs, system additions, and providing  technical support for security related products  utilizing change management. Proactively identify, document, and assess information security vulnerabilities and risk within the WB&T computing environment. Responsible for working and closing tickets assigned to security engineers to meet technology SLA’s. Required to stay up to date with latest security technology and trends. Responsible for user account creation, modification, suspension, permissions, and deletion. Provide 24/7 support of IT infrastructure systems, including weekends and after hours on a rotational basis. Report and monitor security related incidents and any/all security concerns. Work closely with end users, outside consultants, other systems engineers, and technicians in a productive and pleasant manner. Other duties as assigned by the network services manager or other bank management.

Experience and Skills:

Must have 2 or more years of IT experience as a systems engineer or security engineer providing support for IT infrastructure systems and IT security systems. Must have 2 or more years of basic support of windows server 2008-2016, VMware, active directory, basic LAN/WAN/WLAN knowledge, firewalls, patching processes, anti-virus, SIEM, IPS/IDS, vulnerability scanning experience. Must have strong troubleshooting skills and initiative to see problems through to completion. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner with employees, team members, customers, and vendors. Must be able to perform testing, planning, documentation, and knowledge transfer as directed. Must be able to work closely and effectively in a multi-faceted team environment consisting of technicians, engineers, vendors, consultants, and customers. Knowledge of security devices and security appliances such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, NAC, SIEM, spam gateways, and content filtering. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must have excellent ability to multi-task on support tickets, everyday task, and projects in a professional setting. Knowledge of security hardening practices to improve overall security posture. Ability to effectively interact with all types of personalities in dealing with employees and any issues. Ability to exhibit stability in daily stressful situations. Must be able to assist with technology needs such as prioritizing, and taking action in obtaining assistance when systems are degraded or inoperable. High school diploma or equivalent. Some college or technical school or equivalent experience helpful. Previous technical experience in a banking environment is a plus. Experience with Citrix is a plus. Previous security engineering or systems engineering experience required. Any security or IT system certifications are a plus. Must be able to use own vehicle to travel to and from remote offices and branches as needed. Explain, promote, and sell the products and services of Wilson Bank & Trust.
