Job Description:

Position will focus on financial and regulatory reporting as well as report writing within SNL Dashboards.

Duties include: Weekly and quarterly filing of reports to a variety of regulatory agencies such as the Federal Reserve, SEC and FDIC. Prepare, analyze and file the quarterly and annual reports on Form 10-Q/K. Assist in preparing the bank’s quarterly allowance calculation. Prepare various reports for monthly Board meetings. Prepare various journal entries as needed. Prepare a profitability analysis report for the bank’s ATMs on a quarterly basis. Calculate and file the bank’s quarterly sales tax. Work with lenders on a monthly basis to obtain projections for commercial real estate loans and assist in preparing these projections. Perform yearly reviews of financials and SOC reports as part of the Bank’s vendor management program. Work closely with and assist auditors in obtaining necessary documentation as requested. Write financial reports for the SNL Banker dashboard. Work with various personnel in the bank to train on SNL dashboards, as needed. Work with process owners to design SNL dashboards that are useful for measuring and monitoring performance. Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Detail oriented, knowledge of GAAP and accounting procedures, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft excel. Must have a willingness to learn. Ability to work in both a team environment and independently. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to multi-task and perform several duties at the same time.
