Job Description:

Serves as support to branch retail operations and bank support. Provides support for all bank associates by serving as contact for inquiries, issues and problems concerning branch retail and operational policy and procedures. Assists in leading the bank to be more operationally strong, aware, and consistent by providing immediate support and accurate responses. Represents the bank with professionalism both on the job and within the community. Serves as an administrative liaison between branches and other departments within the bank; including support for various global systems/programs which impact branches and customers. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures within area of responsibility. Serves as a primary contact for branch personnel in the areas of branch banking applications, including Teller and Platform applications, and general branch operations. Reviews and assists with outages as needed and assists in mitigating teller/ branch operational losses. Maintains monthly branch reports and completes specific report requests by branches as needed. Adheres to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor degree and two (2) years related banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with branch banking and operations software applications and excellent PC, word processing and spreadsheet skills. Ability to learn internet/intranet and email applications. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers. Ability to effectively present information to employees, customers, and management through oral or written communication. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. This position requires keeping complete confidentiality of all customer transactions and information, and paying close attention to security within and around the bank’s premise at all times.
